Information Security Engineer

A global consultancy is looking for a fulltime Information Security Engineer. Some daily responsibilities for the engineer would include but is not limited to working with SIEM Platforms, working on intrusion detection and prevention, working with offensive security tools, working with python, PowerShell and other scripting languages, and more. This consulting company works exclusively in the financial industry with a goal to deliver immediate, flexible and proprietary solutions that satisfy the needs of hedge funds worldwide. Based in Manhattan, all of their clients are within a 20 minute commute of midtown. The company has eight offices located all around the world. Required Skills & Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in information security
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments
• Intrusion detection and prevention experience
• Experience with offensive security tools
• Experience with system and network hardening
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with security industry standards and best practices (NIST, CSA, CIS)
