Veterinary Assistant/Backup Receptionist

Riverwood Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time experienced Veterinary Assistant and Backup Receptionist . RVH is a full-service veterinary practice, serving the greater Chic area.

Veterinary Assistant candidates require the following strengths:

-Strong Communication Skills

-Good Organizational Skills

-Team Player

-Compassionate and Proficient Patient Care

-Ability to Multitask

-Experience with Cornerstone (not required but preferred)

Veterinary Assistant Skills and Qualifications:

-Phlebotomy

-IDEXX In House Lab

-Surgical Prep

-X-Ray

-Basic Client Vaccine and Parasite Education

-Animal restraint

Backup Receptionist Duties

-Check-in and Room patients (when needed)

-Answer phones and book appts (when needed

-Light cleaning (when needed
