We are hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician who will provide assistance in maintaining the physical condition and appearance of our properties. Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repairs in a timely and professional manner. Assist with keeping grounds and common area free of trash and debris. Perform on-call emergency service as needed. Assist with apartment turns. Help oversee and maintain HVAC systems. Maintain swimming pool(s) and equipment. Physical requirements: Medium to heavy work requiring prolonged or repeated standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and lifting to a maximum of 100 lbs with frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. Ability to use hands to handle tools, feel objects, or control machinery as outlined in job description. Adequate vision capabilities to perform basic job function. Must be able to work inside or outside in all types of weather.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2-5 years successful property maintenance experience, including knowledge of appliance repair, light carpentry, painting, turns, electrical and plumbing repair. Possession of a current and valid CA driver's license and operating vehicle with valid insurance for on-call emergencies. High School diploma or GED required. Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and regulations is a plus. Must have a positive customer service attitude. Ability to participate in On-Call rotation for emergencies; and work holidays and weekends when needed. HVAC and CPO certifications are a huge plus!
