Job Description

PreZero US is currently looking for an Assistant Operator to perform core activities on the assembly line to ensure quality products, consistently maintain production targets and maintain scrap rate to a minimum percentage.

Requirements

Ability to work 12-hour shifts

Comply with all safety practices, policies and procedures.

Report all unsafe activities to the supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Maintain all work areas in a neat and orderly manner at all times.

Ensuring the quality of the product is being packed into boxes, checking dimensions, print position (clear/neat), test seals for strength, ensure that the product meets any job specification.

Know how to read a job jacket and document all routine quality checks.

Stack boxes neatly on pallets (use slip sheets if necessary).

Making and labeling boxes to meet requirements.

Report all information accurately on paperwork.

Good communication skills both verbal and written.

Insure good communication with the operator.

Attend Mandatory meetings on your days off.

Make minor machine adjustments.

Any other tasks that arise.

Requirements:

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

Experience: Previous manufacturing assembly experience.

Mechanical Skills is a plus.

Physical Ability: Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. multiple times a day during a 12 hr. shift; Bend and stand in difficult positions up to 12 hours; Able to push up to 80 lbs. on rollers or wheels.

Work Environment: Hot & humid in summer months, cold during winter. High noise requiring use of hearing protection.

English language skills: Able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Math skills: Able to count.

Competencies:

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Leadership ability and experience adding value to the business with respect to problem solving, cost reduction, and through new process and technology integration.

Solid and broad understanding of all aspects of fiscal management and information technology.
