What my Client is looking for:My client is seeking a Senior/Mid-Level FPGA Engineer (2 openings), for full-time W-2 work with remote capabilities based out of their Longmont office. The preferred location is in the Colorado area with ability to commute on-site from time-to-time.Desired Skills and Expertise:- 3-20 years' experience in Electrical Engineering or similar skillset.
- Familiarity working with VHDL/Verilog.
- Experience working with Xilinx, or Altera FPGA's.
- Exposure with industry standard protocols like PCIe, NVMe, SAS, SATA, I2C, and experience with SPI is a plus.
- Working knowledge of development in languages such as C/C, Java, Python, and Tcl would be a plus.
- Experience working with I2C or SPI.
- Experience working in embedded Linux.
- Ability to read and follow schematics.
- Understanding of PCB layouts and design.
- Ability to pick up new concepts quickly and create intuitive solutions for their products.
- Ability to use flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, etc.
- Develop and Design features for end users.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Stay well-read and maintain leading edge development practices.
