Senior/Mid-Level FPGA Engineer:My client is a niche FPGA test company making very specific test and measurement solutions for PCIe/NVMe, and other industry standard interface solutions. What my Client is looking for:My client is seeking a Senior/Mid-Level FPGA Engineer (2 openings), for full-time W-2 work with remote capabilities based out of their Longmont office. The preferred location is in the Colorado area with ability to commute on-site from time-to-time.

Desired Skills and Expertise:
  • 3-20 years' experience in Electrical Engineering or similar skillset.
  • Familiarity working with VHDL/Verilog.
  • Experience working with Xilinx, or Altera FPGA's.
  • Exposure with industry standard protocols like PCIe, NVMe, SAS, SATA, I2C, and experience with SPI is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of development in languages such as C/C, Java, Python, and Tcl would be a plus.

Bonus Skills Client is Seeking(not required):
  • Experience working with I2C or SPI.
  • Experience working in embedded Linux.
  • Ability to read and follow schematics.
  • Understanding of PCB layouts and design.

  • Ability to pick up new concepts quickly and create intuitive solutions for their products.
  • Ability to use flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, etc.
  • Develop and Design features for end users.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Stay well-read and maintain leading edge development practices.
