Senior Java Frontend Developer

Job-Title: Senior Java Frontend Developer- 28733 Description: Works on a product team and supports product design by planning its work, coordinating with others, and writing and testing code to deliver functionality for the complete product or products it supports. This level designs complex/significant parts of a system/sub-system or works on a complete product of a broad scope and solves well-defined problems with little guidance. May act as a work lead, providing technical coaching to other engineers and support personnel; Recognized as an expert user of critical technology; develops new software functionality for product development. Responsibilities

• Developing and supporting high quality web applications using React.js and Node.js
• Engaging in all aspects of the software delivery cycle including the design, build, test, deploy, and support of software applications
• Engaging in Agile software development activities including team sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Supporting a culture of software craftsmanship best practices including Test Automation and CI/CD
• Collaborating with Product Managers, UX designers, and other supporting teams to define product requirements, system design, and delivery cadences
• Mentoring and developing junior team members through code pairing or other technical skill coaching

• Bachelor's degree in

• 4 or more years' experience with JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js in building customer-facing applications
• 4 or more years' experience with Test Driven Development and Acceptance Test Driven Development
• 4 or more years' experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• 2 or more years' experience with state management frameworks such as Redux or MobX
• 2 or more years' experience with Continuous Integration and build pipeline deployment automation
• 2 or more years' experience working with RESTful web services
• 2 or more years' experience with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud

• Experience serving as the Technical Lead for a software development team.
• Experience with developing interactive maps leveraging Google Maps or similar
• Experience with containerization, caching, content delivery, or analytics
• Experience leveraging AWS services (ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, ElastiCache, API Gateway, etc.)
• Experience with Precision Ag technologies and their use
• Advanced Engineering or business-related degree
