Job DescriptionNode.js Backend Software EngineerAnywhere, USDirect HirePay Range: $150K - $180KJob Description:Our growing client is looking for several rockstar Backend Developers that have excellent skills in building software using Node.js. This is a small team but one that will be growing tremendously over the next 6-12 months. Experience building robust SaaS is key and doing so using best practices and architecture is vital.Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of SaaS Development experience
  • 3+ years of Node.js Development experience
  • Experience delivering robust backend applications, APIs, and data pipelines written in Python or Node.js
  • Experience with data stores and memory stores (redis and postgres)
  • Experience with writing unit tests and end to end tests.
Bonus Soft Skills:
  • Self-motivated, highly-driven, independent, and results-oriented. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge/familiarity/experience of message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ
  • Elastic search experience is a plus, or other Lucene indices
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from a credited universtiy
