Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Software Engineers who specialize in either development, Devops, or testing to support a restricted program for the Pentagon and Maryland customer. There will be several locations in which this role will take place. The developer will be responsible for working with Microsoft Azure in niche areas within the cloud to ultimately deploy the software to the cloud. There will be opportunity for training and development as well as promotion to a Microsoft specialized team. CLEARANCE: Must have TS/SCI CI Polygraph Clearance and be eligible for Full Scope Polygraph LOCATIONS: Reston, VA, Redmond, WA, Elkridge, MD The responsibilities of the Software Engineer include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining areas of Microsoft Azure
- Working with cross functional engineering teams to ensure Azure is operational in a special environment.
- Creating and adding new functionality within Microsoft Azure
- Deploying and integrating software to the cloud
- CI/CD pipelining and deployment, experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins
- Complex understanding of Software Engineering and Computer Science principles
- Experience in Object Oriented Programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, and c
- Experience with software deployment and integration
- ACTIVE TS/SCI w/ CI POLY security clearance
- Must consent for US government FS Polygraph
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming
- $85,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience, JR-SR labor category openings
