Job Number: R0109177 Radio Frequency Engineer, SeniorKey Role:Serve as a radio frequency (RF) engineer on a team conducting radio frequency (RF) system research and development. Provide technical assistance in support of DoD clients. Perform radio frequency (RF) signal analysis, simulation, system modeling, and algorithm development. Work may involve time and frequency domain analysis, and waveform and filter design. Interact closely with clients to identify problems, generate solutions, and communicate results.Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with radio frequency (RF) system analysis or design
  • Experience with using radio frequency (RF) systems test equipment including oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, propagation modeling, link budget analysis
  • Experience with linear algebra and stochastic processes
  • Knowledge of communications and information theory
  • Ability to develop wireless communication protocols, signal processing algorithms and apply statistical methods for analysis
  • Ability to interact directly with clients to identify problems, analyze data, generate solutions, and communicate results
  • Active Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with using software-defined radio (SDR) hardware and developing SDR signal processing functions
  • Experience with satellite communications and space payloads
  • Experience in developing and integrating scientific algorithms with MATLAB, C/C, or Python
  • Experience with satellite communications, space payloads, and software-defined radios
  • Experience with Linux systems and commands
  • Knowledge of signal detection and estimation theory
  • MA or MS degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
