Join our team today as we Bring on Tomorrow! SAIC seeks a Full Stack Software Developer to join a collaborative agile team in a highly mission-focused environment. This position is located in Chantilly, VA. You will refine and enhance existing applications to better meet the customer's mission requirements, as well as develop and provide O&M for multiple tools. In this role you will have the opportunity to utilize state of the art technologies and commercial best practices to modernize operational software architectures for mission critical systems. You will be engaged in all aspects of the software engineering life cycle to include scope and work estimation, design, documentation, testing, and integration. Responsibilities include:

  • Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize tasks, and provide LOE estimates
  • Review requirements to assess technical feasibility
  • Design, build, and deliver product features and integrate plugins (APKs) with required capabilities
  • Work with databases and APIs
  • Provide technical solutions to perform the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes
  • Fix bugs, implement unit/integration tests and write project documentation
  • Write scripts to support automation of software build, integration, and deployment
  • Keep up with new technologies and plan for new technology insertion
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • 9+ years of experience working in software engineering, application development and/or web application development and deployment
  • Demonstrated experience with Java and Linux
  • Hands-on experience with Git source code version control software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the inner workings of the Android operating system (versions 9 and later), including the knowledge and/or ability to modify or manipulate fundamental parts of the operating system components and applications
  • Experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and understanding of best practices in Android app development
