The Cybersecurity Portfolio and Business Management team is seeking an experienced program analyst to support our overall project/program portfolio planning and management process. You will be responsible for providing overall portfolio planning and project operations management support to our business partners within Cybersecurity. This role will engage with Cybersecurity project managers, business owners and key Technology partners, to provide portfolio management oversight and related support for reporting, analytics, and program management activities. You will be the primary business owner of the program portfolio management system for Cybersecurity, working collaboratively with the development team to drive enhancements and reporting. Your technical and business understanding will position you as a liaison between the development team and end-user communities. This position involves heavy collaboration across all functions so flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly is a must.

In addition, you will support the annual project/program portfolio planning process. You may also support ad hoc initiatives that pop-up throughout the year. To be successful in this role, you will need to have an eye for detail, have strong people engagement and collaboration skills, understand project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile approaches. You will work in a fast-paced environment, so time and effective action is required. Essential Functions

:

  • Drive overall project management governance, aligning to Visa’s Project Management Methodology (PMM), processes, and tools, supporting the broader Cybersecurity Project Management community as a PMM Subject Matter Expert within the organization
  • Skillfully influence participants of all levels towards the common goal(s)
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues of cross-Technology project support requests
  • Exercise independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor, and work independently to manage one’s time
  • Ensure accountability with self and others. and maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Support cross organizational high-performance teams, creating a collaborative environment and executing with a sense of urgency
  • Partner with other team members to develop and administer databases to support Cybersecurity business objectives
  • Engage with other technical teams to represent Cybersecurity functions and processes
  • Manage KPIs, dashboards, and other program health tracking mechanisms to provide visibility to key stakeholders within Cybersecurity, proactively driving program governance
  • Monitor the status of the Cybersecurity Project Portfolio through weekly status reporting, monthly and quarterly financial reporting

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in computer science, computer engineering, cyber security, or related field required.
  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication (Including MS Office Suite), and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence technical (especially security) and business issues and/or solutions to multiple organizational levels internally and externally as needed
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in a technical project management related role, with a bachelor's degree or 2 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree
  • Systems Process management and governance experience
  • Database and report development experience with SQL, Microsoft Access, and Tableau
  • Experience with managing information within SharePoint
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changes in priorities, work demands, roles and responsibilities, and experience managing conflict to achieve goals, transparency with management and stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience with cyber security
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • CISSP certification

Work Hours

  • Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent to travel for work less than 5% of the time

Mental/Physical Requirements

  • This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
