Job Title: Senior Software QA Engineer - Health and Research ProductsDuration: 12 Months Location: Cupertino, CA

Job Description (including duties, skills, education): Seeking an expert, self-motivated Senior Quality Engineer. Your focus will be testing the ResearchKit and CareKit frameworks and related products, working closely with engineering teams to ensure product quality consistent with all products.The successful candidate should have a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work on complex projects. Strong collaboration with engineering teams and an ability to thrive under pressure is essential.
  • Independently lead qualification effort for ResearchKit/CareKit and related software project releases.
  • Document test plans/test cases and other testing procedures.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, document product defects and report testing results Participate in cross-functional email and group project discussions

Required experience:
  • 5-10+ years experience testing mobile application software (iOS preferred) • Proactive, requires limited direction
  • Ability to define and execute comprehensive test suites in the absence of detailed specs/documentation
  • Experience working directly with Software Engineering, Project Management and other cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and report quality metrics
  • Experience independently leading overall qualification effort for multiple, complex product/feature releases
  • Experienced in UNIX-based systems for debugging and analysis. Creative thinker and passionate about quality
  • Some experience with writing/maintaining UI Automation tests

Nice to have:
  • Health interest/background is a plus. Previous experience testing iOS/macOS Frameworks
  • Experience defining and negotiating new processes to improve quality/productivity/efficiency
