A Battery Engineer job with the World's leading Computer Company in Cupertino is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. This is a six month assignment paying at $42.56 hourly. Battery Engineer job responsibilities include:
Conduct experiments that explore new materials and help engineering understand how they will perform in customers hands. Perform tests and documenting results in our secured-facility test labs. Test results will be reviewed at an executive level and have an impact on the final design of future products. Scrutinize each test setup and procedure, then give feedback or suggestions for improvements. Qualifications: Ability to run and write Maccor and Gamy scripts Familiar with handling electrolyte in a glove box environment Familiar with handling Lithium-ion batteries including Safety standards Familiar with tensile and compression machines Solid understanding of how a lithium-ion battery works Working knowledge of accelerometers, a plus.
