Job DetailsThe Aseptic Filling Maintenance (AFM) Supervisor is responsible for driving process and strategy as developed by Maintenance Manager that by design are intended to positively impact continual improvement in safety, quality, efficiencies, cost and equipment utilization in the Aseptic Filling and Down Stream Equipment areas. The AFM Supervisor holds co-responsibility for training and is responsible for developing growth opportunities for the department and for ensuring a safe and secure work environment that operates in compliance with SOP's, GNP's, and state and federal regulations. The AFM Supervisor develops team objectives that support current annual operating objectives, including budgets and KPI systems, and ensures that product and process improvement opportunities are realized. The AFM Supervisor is responsible for interfacing effectively with the Planning Department, Production/Operations Department, Parts Department, QC/QA Department, Engineering Department, other Maintenance Departments and will also serve as technical liaison for both internal and external auditing parties in his/her respective area. Leadership Responsibilities (Management & Team Leadership Only):
  • Supervise up to 12 Maintenance Technicians and 3 Leads
  • Coordinate AFM Technician e-time and PTO scheduling through designated administrative resource
  • Coordinate AFM overtime through respective leads
  • Co-perform annual AFM performance appraisals
  • Ensure that all safety goals for entire AFM Group
  • Facilitate daily shift meetings
  • Review generated documentation, execute, and coordinate appropriate actions ensuring current business needs and objectives are realized
  • Communicate production schedule daily
  • Communicate to production/operation staff issues generated from shift meetings and planned maintenance events via morning PIT meeting
  • Coordinate breakdown maintenance response through AFM Technicians and Production/Operation staff ensuring current business needs and objectives are realized
  • Coordinate the creation/editing of maintenance tasks/work orders based on equipment/part efficiency/service cycle through AFM Technician and designate administrative resource
  • Coordinate the continued evaluation of used parts to extend/decrease service cycle, and as well to realize possible remanufacturing options
