Job Title -
Systems Engineer Type- Full Time Positions - 1 Location - (Cupertino, CA & unanticipated locations throughout the US) Development of various niche and complex interfaces based on Java. Lead design discussion of various technologies software at Charter Communication, built using Java and core technologies. Implementation of Enterprise OSS BSS transformation using industry standard Java based products. Responsible for administration of network and address support issues on daily basis. Develop integrated solutions to pass information from one application to another, with minimal lag time. Responsible for OSS-BSS and Inventory Management (UIM) to perform maintenance activities. Monitor performance and develop solutions to automatic system management. Work with new tools and technologies to efficiently monitor networks and promptly address associated concerns. Responsible for OSS-BSS and Product catalog to perform development and maintenance activities. Development of solutions to improve network performances with minimal down time or outages. Deliver technical solutions to meet new business requests following the established SDLC process. Transformation to technical requirement and delivering to customer after implementation by Leading Dev team from design & Technology perspective (Using industry standard DevOps practices) for various features. Articulating the relationship between business requirements and technology strategy. Leading technical solutions by creating the various technical documents like swaggers and sequence diagrams. Work with new tools and technologies to efficiently monitor networks and promptly address associated concerns. Required: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered, as Software Developer or related occupation. Must have 3 years of experience with Java/J2EE, Eclipse, JDeveloper and Oracle 10g. Must have 2 years of experience with XML, WSDL, SOAP-UI, Weblogic, GIT, Jenkins, Unix, Linux, Solaris, Windows, HP ALM, Jira and Putty. Must have 1 year of experience with Telecom, MS Visio, pgAdmin, Forefront Identity Manager and Virtual Identity Server. Travel required to unanticipated locations throughout the US.
