Job Description
Twitter is looking for an exceptional Director of Product with a strong background of hiring, mentoring, and leading high functioning infrastructure product management teams.
The Director of Product for Core Services will be responsible for partnering closely with engineering teams to drive the overarching strategy and execution for the core product infrastructure that provides the main building blocks and abstractions for virtually all features at Twitter. This includes systems that manage Users, Tweets, Timelines, Search, internal APIs and more. This role is deeply cross-functional, and building positive relationships across Product, Feature/Platform Engineering, Data Science and Research will be crucial to success.
Qualifications
6+ years of PM experience with 3+ years in a PM leadership capacity
A history of delivering sophisticated consumer products with a deep technical understanding of high-scale distributed systems
A proven track record of hiring, mentoring, and leading high functioning product management teams
A strong quantitative skill-set with a dedication to rigorous data driven decision-making
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience in building successful cross-functional partnerships and successfully navigating complex stakeholder environments
A strong growth-mindset and a servant-leadership approach
Highly tuned emotional-intelligence and deep seated empathy for both engineering teams and customers
Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling product vision
Outstanding planning, collaboration, and organizational skills
