Bar/FOH Manager Needed!

We are a busy waterfront bar/restaurant in need of your skills!

Are you an individual that works hard but also knows how to delegate? We are looking for someone that has a keen attention to detail and will hold people accountable without being overly confrontational or rude.

We are non-corporate with a great crew, 15 rotating local drafts, house-made cocktail ingredients, and amazing food.

For this position bar experience is a must. Would prefer prior management experience but we are willing to work with the right person.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Scheduling for bar and FOH staff

-Supervising and coordinating FOH staff

-Creating cleaning lists and distributing cleaning tasks fairly

-Training new staff

-Helping to hire new staff

-Quality control and consistency

-Resolving staff complaints or conflicts swiftly and properly (no drama)

-Work shifts required to meet the needs of the bar (nights, weekends and holidays)

-Ensure that customers are happy and that service runs smoothly

You will absolutely need these qualities:

-Ability to think on your feet and not get overwhelmed easily

-Ability to deal with situations and keep a cool head

-Ability to be firm with but respectful of customers and staff

-Energy and a positive attitude

-Excellent communication skills
