The Manager, Sales and Digital is responsible for handling key account management of YouTube for the Music Group, inclusive of YouTube, YouTube Music, VEVO. Additionally, this role will manage the relationships with select other digital partners. Act as contact between Music Group and YouTube globally. Develop release strategies for launches of official music videos (and other content) for Music Group projects. Secure positioning on the YT, and VEVO platforms for music and videos via play listing, platform feature placements, as well as editorial coverage off platform where applicable. Liaise with Digital Network for management of publishing assets, claiming, and optimizations. Oversee the claiming and monetization of user generated content, and work with Music Group on this task Develop, optimize, and maintain our official channels across both YouTube and VEVO for all Hollywood Records artists and Music branded hubs. This shall include channel design, skins, links and playlists

Basic Qualifications:
  • Manage the community tabs on all channels, including regular public posts, re-tubes, playlist shares, consumer engagement, etc. Drive subscriber growth across all channels. Train artists and publishing clients on YouTube channel efforts and community optimization. Develop custom programming initiatives for our projects on the YouTube platform. Liaise with anti-piracy groups to action needs with regard to licensed claims, release of claims, and more. Partner with International department to ensure all efforts are extended worldwide. This includes creating and managing local channels and playlists for Music and related brands around the world. Coordinate premiere announcements and strategies with the publicity department. Manage select additional digital partners with regards to new release pitches, playlist maintenance and relationship management. Reports to Director of Sales and Digital

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years experience working in the working in the music industry with specific current knowledge of YouTube and VEVO processes and policies. Candidate must be experienced in processes around uploading, updating, and optimizing video content on YouTube., Proven success building and maintaining internal and external relationships Excellent organizational skills Exceptional oral and written communication skills - diplomacy and interpersonal skills are a necessity. Strength in multitasking is a must.
