Job Title: Online Operations - Operations Associate II

Tax Work Location: Menlo Park, CA / San Francisco, CA / Austin, TX

Role: Change & Risk Management SpecialistKey success factors in this role include strong attention to detail, ability to manage a rigorous process as part of a business rhythm, and document and consolidate data that speak to the health of the operation. We are looking for a Change & Risk Management Specialist to partner with us in shipping changes seamlessly and efficiently in a timely manner, and to improve upon processes that allow the business to scale thoughtfully without slowing it down.

ResponsibilitiesManage a complex and comprehensive pipeline of change requests across varied stages of readiness while keeping an eye on timelines and stakeholder coordination across each request Prepare resources and materials for monthly risk council meetings (including pre-work, agenda setting, and follow ups) Draft monthly business updates on risk initiatives as well as sensitive-issue communications (as needed) Develop, maintain, and evolve change management documentation to support a growing body of stakeholders and partners (ex: onboarding materials for growing set of XFNs) Facilitate discussion and coordination among stakeholders and partners to drive launch readiness Prepare launch notes, monthly reviews, and routine reporting to support routine change management rhythms Flag when projects or deadlines are in jeopardy while maintaining respectful relationships in difficult or stressful situations Develop templates and evolve protocols to scale change management and risk mitigation best practices Assist with project management on high-stakes change management initiatives including note-taking, change sequencing, and communication cascades (as needed) Develop and manage routine reporting for all matters related to Change Management and Risk Management Prepare and deliver periodic executive-level updates on status, insights, and trends to help inform and guide improvements to the change and risk management workflows Provide PMO support to a complex portfolio of risk and change request tasks

Minimum Qualifications3+ years of experience in project management, process optimization, or3+ operations management, ideally utilizing Excel, or a similar project3+ or task-based system used to drive business decisions and strategyProven project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with high attention to detail Able to manage dynamic and growing project and process requirements with limited guidance, and to prioritize competing needs with good reasoning and creative solutions Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and to drive initiatives in a highly a cross-functional environment Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills Experience operating under high pressure, while prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Must be proactive with proven ability to execute on multiple tasks simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills Demonstrated experience using problem solving to provide sound business solutions and recommendations Project management experience required, with a demonstrated track record of delivering business value and Ability to weigh possible options to arrive at best option for the business, particularly when risk to the business is involved
