Sr. Quality Systems Engineer

My client, an innovative medical device company in Minneapolis, MN is now hiring for a senior quality systems engineer to lead projects related to Quality Management System (QMS) improvement. This will be structured as a 6-month contract to hire role with conversion to a direct hire employee after the initial 6 month period. This position will pay between $50-$70/hour based on previous experience and will require the contractor to be onsite. Among others, the quality engineer will have the following responsibilities: Lead projects related to Quality Management System (QMS) improvement. Strong project management skills preferrable. Maintain and continuously improve QMS procedures and QMS software systems. Interface with cross-functional departments to identify and resolve QMS process related issues. Review current regulations and requirements and recommend updates to QMS. Support an effective internal audit program. Prepare, participate and resolve issues identified from both internal and external audits.
