Software Application Developer III (MacOS Desktop)

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Milpitas, CA that is seeking a Software Application Developer III (MacOS Desktop).Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to design, prototype, and develop cross-platform applications that run on MacOS using technologies like React Native. The ideal candidate is a solid Mac developer who can build high-performing desktop apps. In this role, the Software Application Developer will be collaborating on a cross-functional team to deliver against a product road map, and participating in brainstorm sessions, design discussions, code reviews, and automated test development.REQUIREMENTS: College degree required (Computer Science degree preferred); No preference on industries 8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development 5+ years of Objective-C experience 5+ years of experience in MacOS application development, including Swift, SwiftUI Solid front-end experience with MacOS or iOS React/Native experience Must have experience building and deploying apps using Apple macOS development frameworks Experience in cross-platform technologies like React-Native is a huge plus Hands-on MacOS desktop application development experience Familiarity with packaging of MacOS applications and integrating native libraries Experience with some of Apple's commonly used Core frameworks like CoreAudio and CoreData Ability to develop applications from scratch Deep understanding of performance measurement and optimization Passionate about working on a large-scale, consumer-facing desktop application Optimization experience Front End Design/Development experience Swift/SwiftUI experience Mac/iOS development experienceExperience with: Prototypes Structured Software Test Development Objective CKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
