Quality Inspector

Job Duties

Inspects equipment during fabrication and assembly stages

Tags equipment for process flow

Reads blueprints and work orders to confirm product specifications.

Checks equipment to current company standards.

Administrative

Completes documentation for all stages of production.

Completes a quality control report for each work order.

Researches all rework fabrication issues.

Reports and documents rework issues findings.

Shows initiative in willingly accepting responsibility.

Ability to effectively present information to management, co-workers, and business contacts.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Must be knowledgeable about safety and Food and Drug Administration regulations.

Physical

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Experience:

Fabrication: 2 years

Able to read blueprints

High school or equivalent
