What you’ll do as a Server:

Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele

Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift

Keep an eye on patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately

Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment

Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed

Other duties as requested

What you’ll do as a Dishwasher:

Thoroughly wash and sanitize all kitchen dishes, glassware, utensils, and other equipment using a dishwasher or by hand as designated.

Responsible for the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Responsible for the appropriate handling and storage of cleaning solutions.

Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen area by removing trash and grease, sweeping and mopping floors, and wiping down counters during shift and before leaving.

Requirements:

At least six months experience (preferred)

Knowledge of food safety

Already have the Food Handler Certification or can attain it in 30 days after hire

A positive can-do attitude

Ability to learn quickly and be accountable in upholding standards.

Pay Rate: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour DOE

Servers

A clean, crisp white or black dress shirt with a plain white T Shirt underneath [no tank tops].

Wrinkle free, hemmed, un-faded black dress slacks with a plain black belt.

Shine able black dress shoes with a rubber sole and plain black socks.

A plain, standard width, long black neck tie with no colors or patterns.

Dishwashers

Plain black slacks

Plain white polo shirt (no logos or patterns)

Industry standard non-slip black shoes

Optional

White polo shirt, no patterns, logos, or colors.

Khaki Slacks

A black, ankle-length waiter apron

3. Food and/or Alcohol Certifications (CA SERV Safe, TIPS, STAR, etc.)

Please note you will need a CA Food Handler certificate within 30 days of a conditional offer of employment.
