Job Description

The successful Senior Director of Operations and Service Excellence has experience in integrating acquired companies within the Employer Services field. This role requires a broad range of skills including knowledge of Employer Services, an ability to drill into operational processes and find efficiencies as well as a product mindset. The Sr. Director of Operations and Service Excellence will be working across the organizations comprising Experian Employer Services with the goal of bringing together processes and services and ensuring synergies are capitalized on while improving efficiencies. This is a key position with the responsibility of driving operations and service excellence through business process design, product management, and process improvement while maintaining an innovative and collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Drive operational excellence in onboarding and servicing clients including gaining efficiencies from automation and improved technology
  • Guide product /service reconciliation where duplicative technologies / systems exist
  • Act in an advisory capacity on Employer Services in general
  • Be a leader in the transformation of disparate organizations into Experian
  • Flexibility to be a utility player where needed as this business evolves
  • Influence business and product strategy
  • Develop relationships across departments and throughout Experian to ensure alignment of business objectives and opportunities – have a strong ability to gain followership/support and consensus
  • Produce persuasive, simple and clear story lines, slides and other deliverables relevant to audiences of all levels

  • 10+ years in Employer Services
  • Demonstrated team leadership and advocacy – fostering an agile, results-driven, collaborative, tenacious, fun environment
  • Strong organizational, managerial, and personal skills to successfully communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Action-oriented with strong communication, prioritization, operational, and planning skills
  • High sense of urgency and proven success navigating large, matrixed organizations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to assume leadership positions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Ability to grasp strategic initiatives of target accounts andformulate project/product offerings effectively.
  • Leadership and consensus-building abilities with a proven track record of coordinating and mobilizing resources productively.
  • Proven success navigating large, matrixed organizations
  • Highly professional and credible - interacting at all levels both internally and externally
  • Self-starter, comfortable to start projects from a blank sheet of paper
  • Proven success representing a large diverse organization.
  • Bachelor's / advanced degree required. MBA preferred.
