And our work depends on a Functional Analyst joining our team to support New York State Department of Health Medicaid Management Information System activities.In this role, you will perform the duties of a Regional Provider Outreach Trainer for eMedNY for the Rochester area.At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Functional Analyst supporting the Provider Services department, you will be trusted to represents the company to external and/or internal customers, answering product or service-related questions. Provide customer assistance and problem resolution to a wide variety of customers across business areas. Responds to non-routine customer calls, email and web inquires, providing a single point of contact for problems.In this role, a typical day will include:Provide training of the eMedNY billing requirements and software to NY Medicaid Providers

Develop training materials

Provide billing/enrollment support to providers in face-to-face encounters, phone consultations, group training, seminars and webinars

Present information at various provider associations meetings

Provide testimony for Medicaid fraud legal proceedings

Travel quarterly/yearly to the Albany, NY area for meetings/conferences

Perform other duties as necessary

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:BA/BS degree plus 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience, or equivalent

Knowledge of Medical, Institutional and or Dental claims processing

Strong communication (oral & written), interpersonal, organization skills

Strong work ethics and flexibility. Ability to learn quickly.

Ability to work independently or as a part of a group.

Experience in provider support - related to claim processing software or clearinghouse experience

Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Skype

Experience with Zoom, Microsoft Teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:HIPAA transactions for claim processing, 837 I, P and D

Telecommuting Options:Telecommuting 100%

Travel Required:Travel 25%
