Optician

Isthmus Eye Care is a private eye care group with offices in Middleton and Madison. We are looking for a friendly and organized individual to join our team. Our clinics provide patients with eye health and vision care for the entire family – infants through seniors.

The Optician assists patients in selecting frames and lenses utilizing doctor recommendations to best meet the patient’s vision and lifestyle needs. Specific job responsibilities include:

- Frame styling

- Educating patients on lens technology

- Processing optical orders to the lab

- Adjustments

- Repairs

- Facilitating and billing insurance plans

Experience in optical is preferred. Must have computer knowledge, and familiarity with an electronic health record is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess:

This is a full-time position with one evening until 7:00 pm each week and no weekends, in our Middleton and Madison locations. We offer the following benefits:
