Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring for a Guest Recreation Clerk to join the team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As a Guest Recreation Clerk, you will oversee the operations of the guest recreation department and ensure visitors at Tenaya Lodge At Yosemite receive the highest quality of service during their stay.

We offer a commute bonus of $20 per day for any commutes over 50 miles one-way, as well as a $150 referral bonus upon the successful hire of any referred associate!Responsibilities

Provide information about the facilities, local hikes, attractions, and entertainment options to guests at the resort.

Guide guests on hikes and activities.

Train and develop guest recreation associates on all relevant company, local, state, and federal policies.

Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of all recreation equipment and facilities in line with company and local procedures.

Inspect equipment for wear and tear; perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance tasks.

Maintain inventories of equipment, storing, and retrieving items as necessary; ensure control and accountability of equipment and supplies.Qualifications

Ability to convince the group of people to work toward a goal

Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect guest and employee safety

Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.

Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.

Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of othersPhysical Requirements

Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.

Ability to lift or carry 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
