Responsibilities

Summary MercyOne is seeking a Web and SEO expert to join our team to advance our Mission of transforming the health of our communities. As Sr. Web Coordinator, you will lead the management of the external MercyOne (Mercyone.org) website structure, content, and performance. You will work with regional teams to ensure that content is accurate and easily found on-site and on-line. You will work with external vendors to optimize performance, troubleshoot issues as well as proactively add enhancements to best serve the organization's objectives. You will work with a passionate team of marketing communications colleagues, senior leaders and doctors to drive appointments and engage patients. You will manage all aspects of website content management across the enterprise, including updating, creating and adding content and pages, optimizing overall site performance, optimizing provider and location search, a s well as managing provider and locat ion listings on Google My Business and other sites. You will serve as the web expert proactively monitoring and improving site performance and optimizing our presence online. The ideal candidate thinks strategically, takes initiative, dives deep into details and is energized by juggling priorities. The successful candidate for this position is also composed in fast-moving situations, embraces ambiguity and changing tides, ramps quickly on complex issues, and anticipates questions/reactions. Lastly, the right candidate should be self-motivated. This position can be based at any of our locations with limited travel required.

What You'll Do
  • Manage Mercyone.org:
    • Ensure site performance is monitored and optimized.
    • Manage and develop content for external website via content management system
    • Continually optimize SEO and improve site for leading search engines
    • Development of MercyOne content strategy to support business objectives.
    • Ensure and coordinate the timely update of new information and accuracy of existing information online.
    • Work with SEO/SEM partner to maximize impact and trackability of campaigns
    • Maintains website standards and guidelines as they relate to content, ease of use, graphics and brand image, and ADA compliance.
    • Monitor and respond to correspondence received via webmaster email
    • Coordinate and manage technical development with director and external digital vendors.
  • M aintain online directory listings on third-party sites like Google My Business, Yelp, WebMD, etc.
  • Develop analytic reporting to be shared with market leaders to monitor, and recommend recommendations for web optimizations.
  • Collaborate to support multichannel growth strategies for system wide initiatives, including "always-on" digital marketing approaches.
  • Work independently as well as with other marketing and communication team members, health system operations and project sponsors to create and update content.
  • Proactively research digital marketing strategies, emerging technologies and web Based on findings, make recommendations for enhancements to digital strategies and improve cross-device user experience for all digital properties.

  • Proven experience managing organization websites, developing and formatting web pages and content with web content management systems (Crownpeak)
  • Knowledge and experience with HTML , CSS, and Photoshop to optimize user and platform experience
  • Proven Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience to monitor performance, develop optimized content and analyze results with web analytics (Google Analytics, Tag Manager)
  • E xperience managing on-line listings for locations and providers in Google My Business and other sites. Work with listing vendors to monitor and improve listing quality.
  • Interacts with managers, directors, physicians, leadership, and corporate communications team to accurately reflect current services through web content
  • Works with third-party vendors for web development, social media, SEO, analytics, etc. Organized, reliable, and independent with strong creative thinking and problem-solving
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Strong writing, presentation, editing and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly, collaboratively and effectively with colleagues, peers, and vendors

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Communications or related field, with (5) to seven (7) years work experience in marketing, website management and development, and search engine optimization.
