Care Givers

Home Instead is actively hiring for in-home caregiver positions in the Austin, TX area.

These areas are: Dripping Springs, Driftwood, Lakeway/Bee Cave, Manchaca, Buda, Kyle, Wimberly, Manor, Elgin, Cedar Creek, Bastrop, Central area/Downtown.

We have a variety of shifts available including days, evenings, weekends and overnights. No certifications required. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Companionship and conversation

Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

Medication and appointment reminders

Assistance with grooming and bathing

Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

Ambulation and Transfer assistance

Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care and support

Professional caregiving experience preferred but not required, family caregiving experience will be considered. Skills training provided by Home Instead.

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

Ability to communicate with clients, client families and support team in a friendly and congenial manner

Approved criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen

Reliable personal transportation

Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
