Geotechnical Project Engineer

Our client in Burlington, Iowa is looking to hire a Geotechnical Project Engineer to their regional geotechnical engineering, construction and consulting firm.

• Directing and executing geotechnical and construction material testing project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration and laboratory services.
• Minimum BS Degree in Civil Engineering
• Registration as Engineer-In-Training or Professional Civil Engineer.
• 3-7 years of relevant experience required within geotechnical practice.
• Experience in geotechnical report preparation and development of appropriate geotechnical recommendations.
• Strong background in soil mechanics with extensive knowledge of geotechnical analysis and laboratory testing of soil.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of geotechnical engineering software preferred.
