Security Officer – Full Time Day/Evenings Shift

Wake Robin, Vermont’s premiere continuing care retirement community seeks an experienced Security Officer to ensure the well being of the community and the safety of our residents. Duties include: addressing emergency and comfort concerns of residents, responding to and assessing situations involving the physical plant, and ensuring that all buildings are secured according to appropriate schedules. We seek an individual with a background in security or as a first responder, with the compassion and problem solving skills to interact with our senior population.

What makes Wake Robin's Security team so unique?

Our Security team is often the first point of contact with residents, sometimes in a crisis, but most often to assist, support and make life a bit easier. These relationships are valued and make the job meaningful.

This is a multifaceted job; our security team is key to keeping the wheels on the track for both staff and residents. If you like fast-paced work and quick problem solving, this is the job for you.

This 12 hour/day shift allows for a shorter work week, and more time to refresh and live your life.

This position works in collaboration with multiple teams, including Environmental Services and Health Services. If you want to be part of a team rather than a solo player, this is the place for you.

The work environment, physical space, and grounds are second to none.

As employees, we do more than just work here — we uphold Wake Robin’s commitment to these values; the relationship between staff and residents is the hallmark of this community.
