The Company:ArcScan specializes in ultra-high precision ultrasound imaging of the eye for refractive, glaucoma, cataract, and oncology applications. Our device is an exciting combination of 6DOF complex mechanics, fluidics, advanced electronics, and ever-expanding multi-faceted software. With a first-generation product in the marketplace and gaining traction, the R&D team is starting to develop the next-gen product.ArcScan is a rapidly growing team, with strong leadership and vision. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone is supported to be the best they can be and can grow with the business. We have some flexibility for a combined model of remote work and time onsite. With recent funding, we have a 2-year runway with a solid path toward profitability. What you will be doing:As a member of the R&D team, you will be responsible for updating our existing and developing an entirely new next-gen scanning mechanism for our ArcScan Products.Requirements:- 15+ Years of robotics design experience of small to medium sized devices
- 10+ Years of experience working in medical devices or an equivalent highly-regulated environment under design controls
- Experience as lead engineer of one or more devices on the market
- Experience in design for and transferring designs to manufacturing.
Bonus experiences: - Expert user of SolidWorks
- Experience with computer vision or medical imaging applications
- Experience with risk management for medical devices
Salary: Minimum Base salary of $120,000 or greater, DOE. Benefits: Full Benefits Plan offered.
