Full-Charge Bookkeeper

Growing bookkeeping firm in KC area looking for part-time full-charge bookkeeper. Prefer someone who is QuickBooks certified and has at least 5 years experience. If you do not have strong experience with QuickBooks and Excel, please do not apply. Have a wide variety of clientele ranging from consultants, online commerce, attorney, business coaches and non-profit just to name a few. Candidate must be confident in performing the following functions: Intuit payroll (or other), inventory management, quarterly payroll tax filings, quarterly sales tax filings, accounts payable/receivable management, job costing, bank and credit card statement reconciliations, invoice preparation, 1099 monitoring and preparation, budgeting set up and preparing monthly financial reports. Must be dedicated, reliable and be able to meet client deadlines. Able to correspond with clients, or staff, multi-task and work in virtual team environment.
