We're working with a Fortune 300 company that's the world leader in freight transportation, leading the charge towards battery powered and automated locomotives. They deliver rail and industrial solutions to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency. They have a software platform with that can improve communication, use sensory data to prevent mishaps, and make the rails "greener." They need a Staff Engineer to help scale microservices in a cloud native environment for their system. It's an advanced software solution that's data driven and provides real-time intermodal management that supports operations. Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of professional, software experience
- Java and Spring boot for development
- Experience scaling microservices
- Cloud native technologies
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Kubernetes
- Partnering with QA teams
- Experience building high reliability systems
