Corps Team is seeking an experienced REMOTE Director of Software Development for a fantastic direct hire opportunity in Charlotte, NC! Candidates MUST be local to Charlotte, NC
- A proven technical background, including software delivery experience as a generalist working on both the frontend, backend, and anything it takes to tackle problems and delight users. We work mostly with JavaScript (React), Redux, Terraform, Python, Node.js, HTML, and CSS for the web; Swift, Kotlin, and React Native for Mobile.
- 10+ years of overall experience
- Experience building and running robust teams.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise for the team to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable and performant services and systems
- Strong managerial skills and approaches who enjoy mentoring Engineers and other teammates.
- Good communication skills who can navigate sophisticated organizational demands.
- Experience running software on public cloud platforms and developing applications with cloud services
- Experience in successful delivery of high-quality, scalable production
- Experience in test driven development and deployment through Agile and DevOps methodology, demeanor and best practices
- Hands-on experience with automation including test automation, IaC, and automated releases/rollbacks
- Experience contributing to CI/CD platform and processes using tools such as GitLab, Datadog, etc.
- Experience with serverless development and operations
- Thrives in a collaborative environment involving different partners and domain professionals
- Enjoyment in working with a diverse group of people with different expertise
- Collaborate with partners across the organization including dependent engineering teams, product, design, infrastructure, and operation
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of experience and education
