Cloud Migration Project Manager

VEGA IS HIRING! Actively searching for a Cloud Migration Project Manager, for a multi-year (conversion to permanent) role with our direct client in the Reston, VA area. This role is looking to interview and start the right person right away! Interviews will be conducted virtually, and candidate will be onboarded virtually. Once it is deemed safe to return to the office, candidate will be expected to be on-site. There could be some flexibility at that point. This role will serve to support a massive initiative at a large healthcare organization. This initiative is to migrate enterprise data from on-prem to the cloud solution. With the support of the Center or Excellence and the Program managers, this person will work in an Agile environment to deliver all phases of this project. This role is in the early phases, and is an exciting opportunity for someone to run this project from the ground up. Job Requirements:• Experienced project manager who has completed a large scale data migration to a cloud solution. • Hands on experience on Agile practices, Scrum process, Kanban, and waterfall methodology.• Bachelor's degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is a must.Must have basic project management skills, scope, planning, resource allocation, risks/issue management.• Excellent knowledge of Jira, MS Teams, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Visio.
