Summary: Cardiac Sonographers are important members of the patient care team who use technology and equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart and blood vessel conditions.ScheduleFull-Time, Day Shift40 hours, 8 hour Shifts On-Call Qualifications: EducationGraduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program.Associates-PreferredExperienceHealthcare-PreferredCertifications, Licenses and RegistrationsRegistered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)-RequiredRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)-PreferredBasic Life Support (BLS)-RequiredMust acquire registry within 6 months of employment. Must be eligible to sit for the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International exam. Specialty certification in adult echocardiography or pediatric echocardiography preferred.
