Title: Industrial EngineerLocation: Livermore, CADirect HireResponsibilities: Responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes of portable reformed methanol fuel cell systems. Analyze operations, design workflows and manufacturing processes reduce waste and inefficiency, maximize productivity, and ensure that final products meet the established quality standards. Work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and provide manufacturability input on new MIL-STD and CSA rated portable power productsKey Duties Designs manufacturing processes and create associated documentation Designs or specifies manufacturing and testing equipment Maintains and calibrates instruments. Inspects materials and components Develops manufacturing procedures and control plans Schedules production activities and organizes daily production meetings Plan layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency and ensures a safe working environment Collects and analyzes reliability data of fuel cell components and systems Works with the development team to ensure design for manufacturabilityRequirements Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related fields 5 - 10 years of relevant work experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, or equivalent software Knowledge of CNC machining, molding, soldering, welding, brazing, and 3D printing Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software Experience with power generation/storage products Strong communication and presentation skills Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
