Android Engineer

A company within the carsharing sector is looking for an Android Engineer to join their team. They want a candidate that has three or more years of experience of developing Android applications. This role would be responsible for expanding and sustaining all Android mobile applications that drive the marketplace. Required Skills & Experience • 3 or more years creating Android apps • BS in Computer Science or related area • Experience building apps in Kotlin and Java • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Jetpack Libraries, Rx-Java • GraphQL APIs, Restful APIs, and Apollo Client experience • Experience using Gradle and Dagger2 for Dependency Injection Desired Skills &Experience • Writing multi module application experience • Manage Google Play Store internal testing • Material Design for Android development experience • Experience with Firebase and Android X What You Will Be Doing • Develop and manage mobile app standards and processes. • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code as well as business requirement into applicable software. • Create and manage high performance Java and Kotlin code. • Work closely with back-end, data engineers, iOS developers, and UI/UX team to meet product requirements. • Write app tests • Manage and maintain Android apps in Google Play • Publish high level documentation The Offer • Salary: $160K You will receive the following benefits • Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits • 401K • PTO • RSU (Restricted, Stock, Unit plan) Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future.
