Job Description This SaaS company in the social media and communications industry is looking to hire an innovative and motivated individual for a fully remote Java/Scala Engineer role. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, you will get to be a part of new and growing data engineering team that focuses on creating unique marketing approaches for well-known names brands across the country. In this role, you will get to work with their full-service platform that tracks impact and ROIs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, specifically with Lambda in Java. Their platform is built in Scala and JRuby so they ideal candidate will also need some experience with functional programming and will need to learn Scala and Akka. Not to mention, you will get to work with Big Data technologies, as their platform is fully hosted in AWS. This role is great opportunity for those wanting to work with new development and some of the latest technologies. Required Skills & Experience
- Intermediate level in Lambda
- Intermediate to expert level in REST
- Intermediate to expert level in MySQL/Postgress
- Previous experience with AWS
- Previous experience with Scala
- Previous experience with CICD
- Previous experience in Microservices
- Previous experience with Functional Programming
