Corporate Technology has more than 300 applications supporting BNY Mellon Human Resources, Finance, Corporate Treasury, Compliance, Third-Party Governance, Risk, and Legal. The applications and solutions being built by Corporate Technology spans across different BUs in the bank. The wide range of applications having legacy history provides a lot of opportunities for application modernization. Our modernization and app simplification strategy involves treading away from legacy frameworks to cutting-edge technologies, delegating resource provisioning/EOL management from Greenfield to public cloud and eliminating redundant marts to create unified marts for data consumption. The Production Services team owns some of the most critical responsibilities at the Bank. To ensure these responsibilities are met, our production service team members need to exhibit ownership, accountability, and an eagerness to learn. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting multiple applications within BNY Mellon-s Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Human Resources functions. Support includes incident, problem, and change management in the production environment and supporting ongoing development and testing environments. Manages a small to medium-sized team within a Production Services function involved with the planning, analysis, delivery and integration of systems and business development projects. Works with the other leads, supporting technology teams and customers to determine an understanding of the work and expectations required to be delivered by the team. Manages resources and assigns tasks to the team members. Assists team members in delivering outputs as needed. Prepares and distributes ad-hoc and scheduled reports. Uses a data driven approach to work with all stakeholders in order to bring about continuous process improvements, create plans to bridge process gaps, and produce data driven analyses to measure critical success factors and key performance indicators across relevant processes and services. Manages a team of analysts. Coaches, trains and guides stakeholders and team members. Motivates analysts to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth. Participates in the recruiting process; instructs, assigns, directs and reviews the work of the team; prepares performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback. Participates in overall team effort. Supports Production Services function and executes against strategic objectives or day to day responsibilities of their function. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred 4-6 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
