Direct Hire Jr. Buyer opportunity located in Santa Ana Ca for a large Aerospace company.The Jr. Buyer is responsible for identifying and procuring the goods and services that an organization requires. Candidate will identify external material needs of the organization, find services providers who can supply these goods, negotiate for prices and arrange for the purchase and delivery of the goods.Responsibilities

• Researches products, selects vendors, prepares purchase orders, places orders and schedules deliveries
• Work with all departments within the organization to forecast demand and manage inventory levels
• Negotiate with vendors to get the best possible pricing and payment options consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
• Identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyze the impact of pricing changes for goods and services

• Associates Degree
• 1-3 years of prior procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
• Complete understanding and professional experience with purchasing contracts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
