CaliberMRI (CMRI) is an exciting, growth stage manufacturing company in Boulder, Colorado, winner in 2020 of the Colorado Companies to Watch award. We develop and provide a platform solution for quantitative medical MRI (qMRI) for characterizing and qualifying medical MRI scanners. CMRI sells a suite of physical tissue-mimic phantoms calibrated to NIST standards. Phantoms are combined with our qCal-MR cloud-based software for analysis and QA/QC reporting on research and clinical MRI machines.

At CMRI, the Technical Sales Lead – Sales Engineer shall be responsible for developing and implementing a sales process and building a sales team as the Company grows. This position requires sales expertise with an understanding of CMRI’s Phantoms and qCal-MR software for sale into the broader MRI market. This position shall report to the CEO and will provide market and customer feedback to the product team.

Responsibilities shall include:

ᵒ Sales Development: Develop and implement a sales process; develop and refine a sales forecast methodology; develop and build out global sales territory plan.

ᵒ Sales Engineering: Prepare technical presentations for customers; engage in customer education; negotiate terms.

ᵒ Track orders and ensure timely product delivery.

ᵒ Provide excellent customer service and ability to educate customers on CMRI Phantoms and qCal-MR software.

ᵒ Engage in sales support and technical assistance as needed; create an on-boarding program for new customers.

ᵒ Effective coordination with sales, finance, engineering, and scientific staff.

ᵒ Collaborate with management and Board regarding corporate development activities.

An ideal candidate will possess:

ᵒ Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.

ᵒ Technical Sales of 3-5 years’ work experience in a medical or similar field.

ᵒ Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.

ᵒ Strong work ethic with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ᵒ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

ᵒ Solid presentation and problem-solving skills.

ᵒ Self-driven with excellent time management, prioritization.

ᵒ Strong collaborative nature for effective communication with all staff: supervisors, peers, subordinates, management.

Physical Requirements:

Position typically requires standing, sitting, kneeling, reaching, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and seeing. Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 30 lbs.
