Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal Wanted

Litigation paralegal wanted to join boutique personal injury firm. Convenient Denver location, friendly collaborative environment with lots of room for growth. Ideal candidate would have minimum of 3 years civil litigation experience, familiarity with state and federal rules of procedure, ICCES, and PACER filing systems. Position includes both pre-litigation and litigation case management.

Requirements:

Strong writing skills including drafting of pleadings, discovery, disclosures, routine correspondence, settlement demands, and mediation brochures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact professionally and compassionately with clients, attorneys, expert witnesses, medical providers, court personnel, and referral sources.

Calendar management including calculation and maintenance of critical deadlines, setting and scheduling of trials, depositions, and mediation/settlement conferences.

Experience in case management from intake through pre-litigation, litigation, settlement and/or trial.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and deadlines.

Familiarity with medical terminology and financial/tax records.

Skilled in organizing, tracking, and summarizing large amounts of case related information.

Self-starter with strong organization and analytical skills, who is able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.

Understanding of insurance and premises liability law strongly preferred

Paralegal certificate and/or degree preferred.

We offer competitive compensation in the range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year (dependent on experience and skill set).
