A well recognized software company is looking to bring on a Staff level Java Engineer for a long term contract to hire role! They're looking for someone with 8+ years of professional experience and you'll be developing in Java, SpringBoot, Rest API, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Tomcat and SQL. Solid design skills and unit testing experience is a plus. You'll be doing 100% backend development on a team of 20 engineers and you'll be doing 80% new development. This company just launched a few new products into the market and are seeing huge success with it so that is why they're looking to expand the current team! You'll get to do 80% hands on development, 20% design/architecture and you'll get a lot of visibility in the work you do! This role will go for more than 18 months and you'll work on the PST time zone. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a recognized software company and it's a quick interview process with 2 rounds! Required Skills & Experience
- At least 8+ years of professional development experience in Java
- Experience with SpringBoot, Rest API, Microservices, SQL
- Any experience with AWS or Azure is a plus
- Any experience with performance optimization software and solid design skills is a strong plus
- Someone with strong Object Oriented Programming skills
- Someone who has strong Computer Science fundamentals
