Our UX designers collaborate on concept development and design ideation with business managers and the design team to develop effective and inspiring creative strategies for our clients.Our UX Designers are supported and encouraged to continually improve their skills to stay current on evolving design practices. We have a number of professional certifications we support and personal development opportunities.Working Location: Remote role with technology resources provided by the company, at this time applicants must not need sponsorship for this role and must reside in the United States

Hours: Full-time, Monday-FridayResponsibilities/Duties of the Position
  • Participates in pre-sales and project planning activities including client meetings, requirements gathering, research and estimating
  • Leads an iterative design process
  • Creates and designs logos, user interfaces, websites, presentations, web banners, mobile and alternative digital experiences
  • Collaborates with client contacts and complements development teams
  • Plans concept and prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and needed materials
  • Continually improves and optimizes user experience for websites
  • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, type size and font style, and related aesthetic concepts
  • Creates design documentation including Branding, Style and Image Guides
  • Guides internal team and customers in designing, developing and maintaining official Design Systems
  • Creates rough wireframes and high fidelity mockups for client feedback and approval
  • Creates interactive/digital mockups to demonstrate journey navigation
  • Analyzes website(s) and makes recommendations based on best practices
  • Tests designs and functionality in multiple browsers over multiple devices
  • Assists in the remediation of issues
  • Maintains collateral archive
  • Ensures use of modern design processes and accessibility standards
  • Conceptualize, define and design atomic-level components—from structural layouts to micro-interactions—across web and mobile platforms
Position QualificationsEducation/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Ergonomics or related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years of proven industry design experience with multiple customer references
Skills and competencies:
  • Collaboration tools – JIRA, Confluence or Trello
  • Working knowledge of design, mock-up, wireframe tools (Figma, Sketch, UX Pin, Adobe XD, etc.)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards
  • Strong written and verbal communications

Physical Requirements:
  • Operation of office equipment and using technology efficiently such as computers, phones, tablets, misc. office equipment
