Lawn Care Technician

Are you motivated team player who enjoys being outdoors and has a knack for attention to detail? Midwest Landscapes is looking to hire a Lawn Care Technician to join our Maintenance Division.

Requirements:

- Obtain and maintain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License (categories A & E)

- Accurately record/report time entries using LMN

Submit Fertilizer/Herbicide application record sheets daily

- Follow company safety program (including weekly tool box talks)

- Accurately mix approved materials and become familiar with SDS labels

- Help diagnose lawn and tree issues

- Apply appropriate lawn and tree care applications

- Effectively communicate with customers in a professional manner about services & treatments

- Punctual and good attendance record

- Ability to work 40-50 hours per week

- Ability to perform work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, etc.)

- Winter months include working snow removal for contracted sites

What we offer:

- Wage starting at $22.00 - $25.00/hr and depends on experience

- $2500 sign on bonus (details will be given upon signed job offer)

- Typical Summer season is from April to November. Winter months include working snow removal for contracted sites
