TIG Welder / Fabricator

We are looking for a dependable TIG Welder / Fabricator for carbon steel, light gauge stainless steel, and Aluminum.

Job Description: You will be asked to do anything necessary to complete an assignment from start to finish, which might include cutting, grinding, and finishing work, Not only welding. Ability to learn how to operate Shop Machinery; such as Brake, Shear, Iron Worker, Band saw, and other fabricating machines. Must know how to read drawings and read a tape measure. Ability to communicate with all supervisors, lead-man, and other co-workers.

Physical Demands: Most task are indoors, but may require you to fabricate parts outdoors which you are subjected to inclement weather conditions. Exposed to dust, heat, humidity, fumes, and cold temperatures, Shop is not air conditioned. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and or moving assemblies of up to 75 lbs. Frequent lifting and/or carrying odd shaped objects. Sitting 25% of the time in an awkward position, standing up 75% of the time. Must climb and work at heights above 5 FT, must climb ladders. Standard work hours are 7 AM - 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday and most Saturdays 7AM-12PM. Some Sundays are required depending on work load.

Other Specifications and Requirements: Observe and comply with all safety policies and procedures. Demonstrate safe and productive job performance. May work continuously several hours without a break, some travel may be required for job-site installation. A valid Texas driver's license is required along with clean driving record. Must pass a TIG weld test on 20ga Stainless Steel.
