Concrete Finisher

Essential Job Functions:

Ability, knowledge and drive to assist in all stages of the concrete division. This position requires experience and knowledge of concrete finishing, curing processes, finish tool usage, power finish tool usage, cure timing and ability to manipulate the process based on need.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures a safe work environment for all employees.

Communicates with their team effectively.

Finish concrete, move and set forms, set elevations, slopes/grades, hand trowel, power trowel, float, mag and broom experience is required.

Provide value added expertise and team involvement to provide a quality product

Organizes, tools and materials to conform to finish schedules.

Inspects all concrete finish work in progress at all levels and work locations to ensure that work conforms to company quality expectations and job specifications.

Have extensive knowledge of concrete mix specifications, additives to facilitate certain jobsite pour conditions, cold weather concrete experience and finishing experience in adverse weather conditions.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in construction concrete industry

Have experience and current ability to finish concrete

Ability and willingness to work alongside subordinate personnel to provide value added labor.

Must be competent at performing complete and accurate concrete quantities and take offs.

Experience must include flatwork for commercial builds.

Adhere to strict safety standards and procedures
