Tooling Crib Technician

Tooling Crib Technician | $17-$24/hr + Weekly Attendance Bonus!Monday – Friday 7am-5pmAn established machining and manufacturing company in the Paullina, IA area is hiring a Tooling Crib Technician to join their growing team! This Tooling Crib Technician will work as a team to keep inventory and staging tools for the next work orders. Enjoy working in an excellent facility with over 175 years of combined experience!Responsibilities:Prepare all tools/fixturing to be issued to the machine when ready to manufacture

Procure and track tooling inventory and storage logs for all cutting tools, fixturing, and customer owned hardware within the facility; ensuring min/max levels are kept standard

Participate and lead discussions with manufacturing engineers and schedulers to fulfill all tooling requirements

Manage supplier network and monitor outsourcing and in-house capabilities

Analyze, procure, and oversee procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services

Evaluate and recommend proper tooling life cycle and best practices; Including the removal of obsolete inventory

Participate in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products

Requirements:High School Diploma / GED

1+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment – Preferred

Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and recommend solutions

Ability to work and collaborate with team to ensure tooling/fixturing is prepped for machine to maximize efficiencies

Adept at organizing and planning, including high attention to detail

Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 a plus!
